Gause,Texas- Hog, Dove and Ram Drop camp Our Gause, Texas hog hunt is our most popular hunt. We offer a 3 day 2 night Unlimited Hog and varmint hunt. At this camp we do not provide the Hilton or Marriott nor is there a Starbucks. We are set in the country, no fancy lodge with a pool and lighted skeet range. please be sure your group members know this. We provide the following lodging: A/C, Heat, hot water, etc. Our mobile hunting camp trailers are 40 x 8, 6 bunk room, common room and bathroom. We offer hunting 24 hours a day on our lighted feeders. We have proudly served over 300 groups and over 2000 people at this location SINCE 2006. We are sure that if given the chance you will enjoy your stay. This hunt includes 4 Hogs and Unlimited Varmints {limit one bobcat}. Field transportation is provided as well as plenty of water. Do I need a license to hunt hogs? Yes, a $45 out of state or general hunting license is required.
What type of food do you serve? Generally we serve grilled chicken, pork roast, hamburgers, eggs. etc. We marinade our meats and slow cook them for great taste and tenderness
Do you take us to the hunting areas? Yes, we drop you off right at your stand. And pick you and your game up.
Can we bring ATV'S? Sorry, but our insurance will NOT allow it.
How many hunters can you handle? We can handle up to 10 at this camp. Each group however will be provided there own lodging. We do not mix accommodations.
Can we hunt at night? Yes, you can hunt 24 hours if you desire. We have limited lite feeders. However we do not do 24 hour drop off and pick up. {see policy link on this page}
Can we come in the night before our hunt? This is case by case only. The charge for early arrival is $150 per 5 people. Dinner is also included in that. Check-in for early arrival is no earlier than 4pm.
What size is the property and what weapons can we use?Our hunting tracts vary, generally around 800 acres. You may hunt with bow, spear, knife any legal firearm. No dogs sorry.

How many hogs can we expect to shoot and is this a high fence? This is not a fenced hunt. The number of hogs depends on the weather, time of year, and how much you hunt. The most hogs taken by one person so far is 7. The average size is 130 {again depends on the time of year}. The biggest taken was 498lbs.
